Scott Wroe Hearing Centre a wide range of digital hearing aids always fitted with expertise and care

Hearing Aids
Telford, Malvern, Evesham, Abergavenny

At Scott Wroe Hearing Centres we pride ourselves on our impeccable customer service. We believe that the back-up service and after sales support is just as crucial as the hearing aids fitting itself, and provides assurance in the unlikely event of problems occurring.

The company has continued to grow despite the economic slowdown, due in part to our existing clients recommending us for the level of support and guidance we provide to new customers.

Our after sales support service includes arranging speedy repairs, providing ancillary products such as batteries and, if a dispenser is in the area, we can book home visits to solve problems should they arise.

Hearing Aid

And as an independent family-run practice we can offer the widest choice of hearing aid, and impartial and unbiased advice on which is the most appropriate for you, from leading international manufacturers as Phonak, Widex, Siemens, Danovox, Starkey and Puretone.

We also stock a range of ear defenders and other hearing protection products, ideal for motorcyclists & vehicle users and clay pigeon & trap shooters etc. They are also perfect for those who work in loud environments, such as DJs, musicians, engineers, construction workers etc.

And don’t forget, under health and safety legislation employees who are exposed to 85 decibels or more of noise must be provided with ear defenders.

Hearing Test

We can perform a comprehensive hearing test throughout Telford, Malvern, Evesham, Abergavenny. You will first undergo a hearing exercise using an audiometer, which will produce a variety of frequencies and volumes. The individual’s ability to hear the different notes will then be recorded.

A second test will be performed, where sound is transmitted through a vibrating headband into their inner ear. This pain free examination will highlight any issues that may be present in the eardrum or middle ear. The hearing range will be central to the process of fitting an appropriate aid.

A member of our team will then explain the results of your audiogram, and discuss any relevant action to take, such as the fitting of a hearing aid if required.
