Testing
A full hearing test can take between 45 and 90 minutes depending on what tests are needed to ascertain your hearing loss. The process is also to find out what specific problems you are having and to discuss with you the best solution to them.
We also provide a home visit service for clients who have difficulty coming to our centres.
We charge £15 for the test at a branch and £25 for a home visit. These prices include a copy of your audiogram and if needed, any referral letters to your GP or ENT consultant.
Fitting
The majority of our hearing aids are provided with a 30-day free trial enabling you to test the hearing aid with family and friends before any financial commitment is made.
The only time a charge is incurred is if a specific mould for a behind the ear digital hearing aid instrument or receiver needs to be used to enable us to conduct the trial. In this case, a small charge of £25 per fitment will be required.
Over the trial period we arrange regular check-ups to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the hearing aid. These check-ups are to make adjustments to the hearing aid and to ensure you are comfortable in handling and maintaining the device.
